Now separated from her Australian husband and musical partner Christian Dunham with whom she toured for 20 years playing every kind of venue from folk clubs, arts centres and theatres to the acoustic stage at Glastonbury Festival and concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall, Emily is now performing intimate solo house concerts and folk clubs in the UK.

Open about her struggles with bipolar disorder, Emily’s experience of mental health recovery and her practice of Buddhist meditation over the past 25 years have strongly influenced her songwriting.
